Job description

Load Capacity (Rigger-2) = 11 Tons to 40 Tons

Load Capacity (Rigger-3) = 0 Tons to 10 Tons

Knowledge of selection and configuration of equipment required to move loads according to weight and size.

Responsibilities

Knows and complies with all relevant safety rules and regulations.
Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment and material in construction projects.
Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches etc according to the weight of object to be moved.

Skills

Attach load with grappling devices such as wires, rope, slings and chains to crane hook.

Gives direction to crane operator engaged in hoisting and moving loads, to ensure safety of workers and material handles using hand signals.

Set up braces and rigs hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches. Splice rope with rope cable together to make or repair slings and tackles.

Compliance with the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of incidents and / or accidents.
