We are seeking to engage an experienced Financial Management Policies and Procedures Development Consultant to review, update, and enhance the organization’s financial policies, procedures, and manuals in line with best practices, Saudi regulatory standards, and sound governance principles.
Scope of Work
- Review and assess the current financial management policies, procedures, and manuals, including budgeting, accounting, payments, and financial reporting.
- Evaluate compliance with applicable regulatory, accounting, and internal control standards.
- Develop and update policies and procedures that strengthen financial governance, transparency, and operational efficiency.
- Provide recommendations to improve internal controls, risk management, and financial compliance.
- Deliver updated and professionally formatted policy and procedure manuals ready for management approval.
- Conduct awareness or training sessions with relevant finance and accounting teams to ensure proper implementation.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing financial management policies and procedures.Demonstrated consulting experience with organizations in Saudi Arabia (please include project references if available).Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS), budgeting, treasury operations, accounts payable / receivable, and internal controls.Advanced documentation, analytical, and policy drafting skills in Arabic and English.Familiarity with Saudi regulations, Ministry of Finance guidelines, SOCPA standards, and relevant governance frameworks.Knowledge of ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.Work Location
Remote, with scheduled onsite visits as required.
