This job description outlines the responsibilities and requirements for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure trucks, safety, and emergency equipment are in good condition.
• Maneuver trucks for safe loading / unloading, following signals from the crew.
• Protect company assets (vehicles, uniforms, MHE, ID tags, handheld devices, etc.).
• Follow delivery instructions, site rules, and assigned routes.
• Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and truck assignments.
• Report any truck defects, accidents, or violations.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean and roadworthy.
• Secure cargo and ensure proper condition during transport (temperature & physical checks).
• Collect signatures / stamps on delivery receipts.
• Assist in loading / unloading when required.
