The College of Computer and Information Sciences at Prince Sultan University aims to provide world-class education in Computing, Information Systems, and Engineering for both undergraduate and graduate programs. The College offers Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Information Systems, Bachelor of Software Engineering, Master of Software Engineering, and Master of Cybersecurity programs. The Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Systems, and Software Engineering programs are ABET accredited.

The College of Computer and Information Sciences is seeking applicants with the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor for the second semester of the academic year 2024 / 2025, starting on December 29th, 2024.

The candidate is expected to teach courses in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Cybersecurity.

  • Computer Sciences (CS) : Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, HCI, Visualization, Algorithms and Theory, Systems, Graphics, and Computer Vision.
  • Software Engineering (SE) : SW Requirements Engineering, Design and Architecture, Quality Assurance and Testing, SW Construction, SW Maintenance, SW Project Management, and Cybersecurity.
  • Information Systems (IS) : Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Management, Web Development, and Business Analytics.

A suitable candidate would demonstrate :

  • PhD Degree in one of the above four specializations (CS / SE / IS) or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Quality teaching.
  • A track record of or potential to secure external funding and produce high-quality research.
  • A record of, or evidence of potential to publish in leading international peer-reviewed journals (ISI and Scopus Q1, Q2).
  • Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
  • The ability to develop new areas of the curriculum as needed.

    • Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, conduct research, supervise students, and participate in academic and community activities.

    The university is expanding, with a well-equipped campus in north-central Riyadh.

    1. We offer a one-year renewable contract with a competitive salary based on qualifications, rank, and experience.

    2. Benefits include medical insurance for the employee and dependents (spouse and up to 4 children under 24).

    3. Round-trip tickets for annual leave (maximum 4 : employee, spouse, and 2 children under 18), with paid summer vacation of two months and approximately 15 days of local holidays.

    4. Tuition fee coverage up to SAR 30,000 for children attending school in the Kingdom.

    5. Free furnished accommodation with utilities or a housing allowance based on rank.

    6. End-of-service gratuity after 2 years of continuous service.
