Quality Control Engineer, High Voltage Direct Current – alfanar Electric

Improving product quality during manufacturing, managing QMS, validating products, addressing non-conformities, overseeing design specifications, reducing customer complaints, improving rework rates, supporting continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, coordinating with departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update quality control procedures and format documents.
  • Establish and maintain ISO documentation, including Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Continual Improvement Records.
  • Coordinate external calibration processes, instrument dispatch, reception, and prepare reports.
  • Perform internal calibration, supervise instrument calibration, and keep records.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to verify ISO compliance.
  • Create and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and coordinate inspection / testing processes.
  • Produce test reports for inspected items, initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and follow up to resolution.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with third‑party inspection or customer representatives, addressing and closing comments.
  • Lead and train sub‑ordinates, delegating tasks, coaching and ensuring fair distribution of work.
  • Deliver planned activities to meet delivery schedules and operational targets, using resources efficiently.
  • Resolve operational problems and raise escalations when necessary.
  • Coordinate process improvement initiatives, documentation of procedures, and identify automation opportunities.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain safety, quality and environmental compliance within the work area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance / quality control in manufacturing of electrical products.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO quality standards, QMS documentation, CAR, NCR, ITP.
  • Experience with calibration processes and instrument maintenance.
  • Ability to conduct audits and prepare audit reports.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and team management skills.
