Assistant Financial Controller

supports the Financial Controller in overseeing the financial operations of the hotel. This role involves assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance to ensure the financial integrity of the establishment. The Assistant Financial Controller works closely with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Support : Assist in managing the hotel’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Internal Controls : Help establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Team Collaboration : Collaborate with finance staff and other departments to facilitate effective communication and financial reporting. Budget Preparation : Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing necessary data and insights. Audit Assistance : Support the coordination of internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations to the Financial Controller. Process Improvement : Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance financial performance and reporting.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the hotel or hospitality sector. Proficiency in financial management software and accounting systems. Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
