Investor Relations Manager
is responsible for managing communication between the retail company, its investors, analysts, and stakeholders. This role ensures transparent, timely, and effective delivery of financial and strategic information, while strengthening investor confidence and supporting the company’s growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Investor Communications Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, analysts, and financial institutions. Prepare and deliver clear, consistent, and accurate communication of financial performance, strategic initiatives, and market developments. Draft investor presentations, quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, fact sheets, and Q&A documents. Financial & Market Analysis Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and capital market developments in the retail sector. Provide management with insights into investor sentiment, market expectations, and stock performance. Analyze and communicate peer performance benchmarks to management. Corporate Strategy Support Support senior leadership in articulating the company’s vision, business model, and long-term strategy to investors. Coordinate investor days, roadshows, earnings calls, and retail sector conferences. Partner with Finance, Corporate Communications, and Strategy teams to align messaging and reporting. Compliance & Governance Ensure all investor materials comply with financial reporting standards, stock exchange regulations, and disclosure requirements. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Work with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely disclosures. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred). 5+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, or Equity Research, ideally in retail or consumer goods. Strong understanding of financial statements, capital markets, and valuation methods. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Ability to translate complex financial and business information into clear messages. High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and IR platforms.
