What you’ll be doing : We are seeking a driven, high-energy professional with a background in product, sales, or category management with a brand or distributor to join our team as Commercial Director. You will oversee key commercial functions including P&L ownership, distribution strategy, brand portfolio management, team leadership, and digital transformation, reporting directly to the General Manager of Luxury Tech. Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership : Manage the multi-million-dollar P&L of the distribution business—revenue, OP%, and cash; develop the brand(s) business plan aligned with vertical strategy; secure buy-in from VP / President; set and cascade annual commercial KPIs and monitor progress. Portfolio & Brand Management : Develop a long-term category vision and brand acquisition strategy; identify gaps to match customer aspirations and scout new brands; manage the portfolio by scaling successful brands and terminating underperformers; review underperforming retailers and implement remedial plans; ensure OPEX and CAPEX align with budgets; deliver KPIs as agreed with VP. Channel Development & Distribution Management : Drive setup of distribution channels across electronics, hardware, and beauty; maintain CXO-level relationships within key channels; identify strategic channels including independent retail and operators; manage contracts, margins, and channel promotions; coordinate with marketing for launches and events; ensure ROI on channel marketing and adherence to IRR guidelines. Sales Team & People Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of key account managers and field sales officers; assign operational responsibility while ensuring accountability; identify competency gaps and work with People Partner to address them; participate in succession planning and set People KPIs. Operational & Cross-functional Management : Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance; drive transformation and automation projects; recruit channel sales teams and in-store promoters; align with Brand(s) on contractual implementations; monitor budgets and ensure financial statements reflect true position. Digital & Customer Experience : Build a strong digital revenue channel (eCommerce, apps, in-store digital experiences) and develop a hybrid customer journey to grow a loyal community; manage store networks and digital platforms. Sales Performance & Continuous Improvement : Own monthly revenue targets and sell-in / sell-out management; evaluate team performance and drive process improvements; leverage technology to enhance the sales process and respond agilely to performance results. What You’ll Need To Succeed
10+ years of experience in sales / product / category management with a leading consumer electronics brand or distributor in KSA. Strong background in retail / merchandising preferred. Strong relationship-building skills with CXO-level stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Arabic language speakers only. High attention to detail and strong execution skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high emotional intelligence and a passion for helping people.
