Hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden, metal, and composite structures across a range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
You’ll work in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment and collaborate with other trades on-site. The role includes indoor and outdoor work, possible travel to multiple sites in Dublin and nearby areas, and offers strong growth potential for advancement into supervisory or specialized craftsmanship positions.
Requirements
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, or composite materials to precise specifications
- Install structures, frameworks, and fixtures
- Ensure all work complies with Irish building codes and safety regulations
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers) for project integration
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Perform quality control inspections on completed work
- Accurately document materials used, work completed, and hours worked
- Troubleshoot issues and provide on-site solutions
- Participate in site meetings and update supervisors on progress
- Mentor apprentices and assist with team training when needed
