Overview
The Personal Trainer is responsible for delivering one-on-one training sessions that help members achieve their health and fitness goals. This includes designing personalized workout programs tailored to each member’s fitness level and objectives, coaching them on proper exercise techniques, monitoring progress through regular assessments, and providing guidance and motivation. The trainer ensures members stay safe, engaged, and supported throughout their fitness journey.
Responsibilities
- Training & Program Development : Deliver one-on-one training sessions following structured programs, ensuring proper exercise techniques across strength training, cardiovascular, flexibility, and other fitness activities.
- Design and implement personalized fitness programs by assessing members’ current fitness levels, goals, and abilities.
- Regularly conduct body assessments (weight, height, fat %, muscle mass, BMI, etc.) and use results to track progress and adjust programs.
- Monitor members’ health and fitness progress, making modifications to their plans as needed to ensure results.
- Member Support & Engagement : Provide emergency first aid when required.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with members to improve satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
- Maintain accurate records of member attendance and participation to identify trends and support engagement.
- Safety & Compliance : Enforce safety rules and proper use of machines and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Regularly check training tools and equipment for functionality and report issues to the relevant team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and training methods to deliver high-quality sessions.
