Responsibilities
Design mechanical systems for residencial, commercial and goverment projects in accordance with technical specifications and applicable standards. Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems according to relevant standards and project requirements. Supervise the implementation of mechanical works and ensure compliance with approved designs. Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using software such assuch as AutoCAD, Revit and calcuation programs. Conduct thermal and hydraulic calculations and evaluate system efficiency. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure proper integration of mechanical systems. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets. Ensure all works are compliant with local and international codes and standards. Ensure all designs comply with SBC and NEC mechanical codes. Produce detailed load schedules, voltage drop analysis, short circuit calculations, and cable sizing reports. Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, safety, and civil disciplines for integrated project delivery. Review shop drawings and respond to contractor RFIs during the construction phase. Provide technical support to site teams when needed. Participate in technical meetings with clients and stakeholders. Ensure design quality and delivery within specified deadlines. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Maximum of 5 years of experience in design and supervision within an engineering consultancy office. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP. Strong knowledge of NEC, SBC-401, and local utility authority standards. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoois a plus. Skills
