Job description

We are a developer, investor, and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants, with 90 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Description

Supply Chain Performance Optimization

  • Maintain and improve outage procurement performance across plants, focusing on key KPIs.
  • Develop ideas and strategies to improve outage procurement operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.

Daily Tasks :

  • Purchase materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.

    • Reporting and Data Analysis

  • Prepare and provide weekly dashboard reports for assigned cluster / plants, including metrics on open PRs, POs, rejections, PO releases, advanced payments, PO acknowledgments and progress on related deliverables.

    • Project‑Specific Procurement

  • Ensure plants consolidate PRs for specific outages by OEMs, special projects, and related party transactions.

    • Issue Resolution and Communication

  • Resolve procurement‑related issues and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

    • Procurement Oversight

  • Support local content‑related initiatives in line with regulatory requirements.

    • Collaboration and Relationship Management

  • Work proactively with the cluster planning managers to secure outage schedules and related requirement submissions comply with milestones listed in outage management procedure.
  • Work closely with supply chain management to support outage procurement performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their outage procurement needs and requirements.
