Job descriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor (e.g., MRICS, RICS) 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying and construction management Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract law Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sage) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs
- Manage project budgets throughout the lifecycle, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Oversee contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, issuing change orders, and administering payments
- Monitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns or delays
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in quantity surveying
- Provide expert advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on cost-related matters
- Contribute to the overall success of Freyssinet Saudi Arabia by providing accurate and timely cost estimates and project management support
