The Contract Advisor provides support to the Contract Manager in managing and administering contractual agreements within the Chemical Disposal Hub at ASMO. They assist in contract drafting, review, and compliance, and provide guidance on contractual matters. General Responsibilities
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliance with contract terms, legal requirements, and company policies. Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to address any contractual concerns related to hazardous materials and environmental compliance. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contracts and contract-related activities. Support the Contract Manager in monitoring contract performance and resolving any contractual disputes or non-compliance issues. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract terms and obligations. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency. Implement all relevant Supply Chain & Logistics department’s policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies and standards. Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, procurement or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required. Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), or similar certifications preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English. 7 years’ experience in similar or related field.
