Job description

Knowledge & Abilities Plan, administer, and execute the procurement function in accordance with the approved procurement procedures to deliver the material requested efficiently. In addition, assist Procurement department in enhancing, automating and improving Procurement day-to-day operations. Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.

Skills Main Duties & Responsibilities

Administers and leads cross-functional teams through the competitive bidding process, directs supplier negotiations, and develops, evaluates, and selects suppliers in accordance with company policies.

Implement the procurementstrategies to acquire all materials and services, utilizing and enhancing supply chain management capabilities.

Ensure all procurement processes, transactions and external business relations are in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, and highest standards of ethics.

Regularly monitor market developments and pricing trends and accordingly conduct negotiations for better and competitive purchase costs.

Formulates requests for proposals (RFP) / quotations / information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations.

Review offers and history analyze and negotiate with suppliers to finalize the commercial comparisons recommendations and process for the approvals with the authorities and committees.

Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders taking into consideration technical and commercial recommendations and follow for approvals.

Follow with suppliers for the fulfillment of the issued PO in accordance with the organization’s requirements.

Verify receipt completion of purchase orders Issues such as quality quantity shipment errors must be resolved through the proper channel.

Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among suppliers. Tracks the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.

Full responsibilities for all company assets from planning stage, procurement, maintenance, management till depreciation

Strategically source equipment and services using a variety of methods to ensure an uninterrupted supply.

Evaluates and select suppliers based on their ability to provide the goods / services at costs consistent with budgetary expectations.

Tracks material / service costs and supplier performance using approved metrics and tools.

Analyzes trends and makes corresponding sourcing decisions.

Engage in regular contact with suppliers.

Leads and / or participates in meetings with suppliers to rectify issues and to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting and are aware of the requirements and expectations.

Perform work according to department KPI goals.

Requirement for the Position

Education : Bachelor Degree (

  • Procurement short courses preferred)

Experience : 2 – 3 Years job related Experience in Building Materials or Construction Company preferred.

Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products / services.

must be able to work efficiently under his own initiative.
