šŸ§Æ Safety Management

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of work areas, machinery, and practices.
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Ensure availability and proper use of PPE and safety gear across the facility.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.

šŸ“š Training & Awareness

  • Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
  • Organize periodic safety training and toolbox talks for staff.
  • Promote awareness of fire safety, first aid, chemical handling, and emergency procedures.

    • šŸ“„ Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain HSE records, including inspection reports, MSDS, incident logs, and permits.
  • Ensure compliance with local environmental, occupational health, and safety laws.
  • Support implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or other HSE standards if applicable.

    • ā™»ļø Environmental Protection

  • Monitor waste disposal, emissions, noise, and other environmental impacts.
  • Ensure safe storage and handling of hazardous materials (chemicals, fuels, etc.).
  • Promote sustainability and energy conservation practices.

    • šŸšØ Emergency Preparedness

  • Develop and regularly test emergency response plans (fire drills, evacuation procedures, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external agencies for fire safety and medical support when needed.
  • Maintain firefighting and first aid equipment in working condition.

    • šŸ¤ Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure integrated safety practices.
  • Report unsafe conditions and support the implementation of engineering or administrative controls.
  • Prepare monthly HSE reports and present findings to management.

    • šŸ“Œ Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Diploma or Bachelorā€™s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2ā€“5 years of HSE experience, preferably in a foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of national HSE laws and standards.
  • HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation.
  • Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.
  • First Aid and Fire Safety training certification is a plus.
