Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee various technology projects in our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, communicating with stakeholders, and implementing best practices in project management. Your expertise will be critical in driving project success and aligning technology solutions with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting on project status, including updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Implement best practices in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Facilitate project meetings, ensuring that all team members are informed and engaged.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee external resources involved in projects.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure projects leverage the latest advancements.

Preferred Candidate

  • Proven experience in IT project management, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to address project challenges.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in project documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, and other compliances
