This is a full-time on-site role as a Purchasing Officer at COLORS Co. in Jeddah. The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing all procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services. The role requires strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills to ensure cost-effective and efficient purchasing operations in line with company policies. Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery terms. Prepare and process purchase requests and purchase orders in accordance with company policies. Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply or delivery issues. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance. Coordinate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and ensure requirements are met. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when necessary. Review and compare supplier quotations to support purchasing decisions. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and budget limitations. Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 0 to 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of procurement procedures and documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Familiarity with ERP or purchasing systems is an advantage
