HAAZ is at the forefront of intelligent building solutions, pioneering the integration of traditional MEP & Electrical systems with cutting-edge digital technologies. We specialize in delivering complex, future‑ready infrastructure for landmark commercial, residential, and mixed‑use developments. Our mission is to build not just structures, but smart, efficient, and connected ecosystems.
Job Summary We are seeking a highly proficient and forward‑thinking Electrical Engineer with specialized expertise in Extra‑Low Voltage (ELV) systems, Medium Voltage (MV) infrastructure, and Internet of Things (IoT) services. This role is critical for designing and implementing the technological backbone and power distribution for modern smart buildings. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between power and data, ensuring seamless, safe, and intelligent building operations from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated System Design :
Design, engineer, and specify complete ELV systems, including Structured Cabling, Security (CCTV, Access Control), Public Address, IT Networking, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Medium Voltage Design :
Design, model, and analyze Medium Voltage (up to 33kV) distribution networks, including HV / LV substations, switchgear, protection systems, and cable sizing for high‑rise buildings.
IoT Architecture :
Architect IoT solutions for smart buildings, integrating sensors, data gateways, and cloud platforms for applications such as predictive maintenance, energy management, and space utilization.
Project Management & Execution :
Manage projects from concept and detailed design through to installation, testing, and commissioning.
Technical Coordination :
Review and approve contractor submittals, method statements, and shop drawings; conduct power system studies (load flow, short‑circuit, coordination) using relevant software.
Commissioning & Handover :
Lead commissioning and functional performance testing of complex MV systems and integrated ELV / IoT platforms; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning phases; prepare as‑built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
6–8 years of proven experience in building construction, with a demonstrable portfolio in both ELV systems and Medium Voltage infrastructure.
Direct, hands‑on experience in designing or implementing IoT solutions for smart buildings (e.g., sensor networks, data analytics platforms, IoT protocols).
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
In‑depth knowledge of relevant international standards (IEEE, IEC, NEC, BICSI) and local regulations.
Experience with BMS / BAS (Building Automation Systems) and SCADA is highly advantageous.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strategic Thinker :
Ability to see the big picture of how power, data, and IoT converge to create intelligent buildings.
Technical Proficiency :
Strong understanding of networking principles (IP addressing, VLANs) and IoT architecture.
Project Management :
Excellent organizational, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
Problem‑Solving :
Superior analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex, multi‑system issues.
Communication :
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent chartership is a significant plus.
What We Offer
A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
The unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking smart building projects.
A culture of innovation that values continuous learning and professional development.
Exposure to the latest technologies in ELV, MV, and IoT.
Support for advanced certifications and training.
