Site Construction Manager

Job descriptionEducation : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Experience : Minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in multi-national and multi-disciplinary projects. Track Record : Proven track record in managing the construction and commissioning of large thermal power plants and / or synchronous condenser projects. Documentation : Comprehensive familiarity with engineering drawings, construction supervision, and project planning. Codes & Standards : Sound knowledge of recognized international and local engineering codes, standards, directives, and safety regulations including : ASME, ASTM, API, DIN, VGB, EN, NFPA, HCIS, ISO, ISA, ATEX, NEC, IEC, IEEE, ACI, ANSI, ASCE, SBC, COMPANY ISD, Saudi Grid Code, NCEC Environmental Regulations, AWS, ASHRAE, OSHA, UL, FM, and relevant OEM standards. Local Regulations : Familiarity with the laws, regulations, and codes applicable within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English. A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. High commitment to safety, quality, and professional integrity.
We are currently recruiting a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 20 years of experience leading multi-national and multi-disciplinary projects. The ideal candidate must possess a proven track record in managing the construction and commissioning of large thermal power plants and / or synchronous condenser projects.
Responsibilities
- Site Oversight : Oversee all site activities performed by the EPC Contractor, ensuring works are executed in full compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, and approved schedules.
- Quality & Methodology : Verify the accuracy, methodology, quality control, and timely execution of all construction and commissioning activities.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and coordinate personnel assigned to the site, providing leadership and direction to ensure effective project execution.
- Technical Review : Manage the review of engineering drawings and documentation, construction methods, project planning, and material inspection.
- QA / QC & Commissioning : Ensure adherence to quality assurance / quality control (QA / QC) procedures, oversee testing and commissioning activities, and manage associated reporting and documentation.
