DevOps Engineer

Overview

As the sole or lead DevOps Engineer in Uvera you will be the key driver of our product's development, deployment, and operational reliability. You will own the entire CI / CD pipeline , from code commit to production monitoring, with a focus on automation, security, and scalability . This is a highly impactful, hands-on role requiring a blend of software engineering skills, system administration expertise, and a proactive mindset toward operational excellence.

Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage and optimize AWS resources, ensuring high availability and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Docker containers for various applications.
• Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Monitor system performance and health using Grafana and DataDog.
• Write and maintain shell scripts for automation and infrastructure management.
• Work with AWS IoT Core to integrate and manage IoT devices.
• Manage and monitor Kafka clusters for real-time data processing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and alerting.
• You are responsible for running a multi-tenant SaaS platform on AWS using EKS, RDS, and S3. One of the clients reports intermittent downtime and high latency during peak hours. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, explain how you would approach diagnosing and resolving the issue. Include details on monitoring, scaling, incident response, and ensuring the issue doesn’t happen again.
