Testing & Commissioning Manager (PMC)

Overview

Testing & Commissioning Manager (PMC) for a mega project in Riyadh, KSA. This role is with AtkinsRéalis (Energy Job Search listing).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing and commissioning plans for all building and utilities systems in the project.
• Coordinate with design consultants, design guardians, contractors, and project managers to ensure readiness for commissioning.
• Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and commissioning procedures.
• Lead commissioning meetings and workshops with stakeholders.
• Monitor and verify system performance against design and operational requirements.
• Manage third-party testing agencies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify and resolve commissioning-related issues and deficiencies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure integration of systems (e.g., HVAC, BMS, fire alarm, lighting, elevators) and validate interoperability.
• Support training and handover processes for client operations teams.
• Provide technical input during design reviews to ensure systems are commissionable.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance during commissioning activities.

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience in testing, commissioning, or quality assurance within Saudi Arabia.

In-depth understanding of the systems, equipment, or processes being tested.
