Who do we need?
To be successful in this role, you must have proven skills across planning, creative and strategic thinking, an ability to manage accounts and account teams, strong leadership, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to translate client needs into project plans. Ideally, you should have agency / consulting or related experience with a background in consumer / destination PR, and be adept at drawing upon previous sector experience to provide clients with knowledge and counsel. Your sector‑specific client servicing skills and media relations with key journalists in local and regional media will be essential.
Responsibilities
- Client Relations – Responsible for day‑to‑day management and oversight of accounts, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget, supporting clients at events and activations, and pursuing organic growth and project sell‑in from existing clients.
- Content Development – Develop external and internal content including press releases, key‑message documents, speeches, memos, and assist in setting and meeting campaign measurement and evaluation criteria.
- Industry & Market Knowledge – Maintain a high understanding of clients’ businesses, current developments, and trends affecting their industries and markets; understand the role of social media channels in PR and how to utilize each to the clients’ benefit; demonstrate understanding of clients’ digital work and advise on social media content and activations.
- Account Team Management – Contribute guidance and ideas for account teams, assist in financial management for clients including supplier coordination and activity reports.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in PR or related field.Arabic communication is mandatory.Experience in a reputed PR agency.Well‑rounded communication skills; strong client servicing and media relations; ability to write in various styles including news releases, case studies, features, and speaking points.Experience managing colleagues and teams.Experience with measurement and evaluation‑driven clients and accounts.Strong presentation skills, poise, and professionalism.Seniority level
