The Google Cloud team helps companies, schools, and government seamlessly make the switch to Google products and supports them along the way. You listen to the customer and swiftly problem‑solve technical issues to show how our products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative. You work closely with a cross‑functional team of web developers and systems administrators, not to mention a variety of both regional and international customers. Your relationships with customers are crucial in helping Google grow its Cloud business and helping companies around the world innovate.

As a Cloud Data Consultant, you'll guide customers on how to ingest, store, process, analyze, and explore / visualize data on the Google Cloud Platform. You will work on data migrations and transformational projects, and with customers to design large‑scale data processing systems, develop data pipelines optimized for scaling, and troubleshoot potential platform challenges. In this role, you will be working with Google's strategic Cloud customers, and with the team you will support customer implementation of Google Cloud products.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to design and implement data platforms for enterprise, with robust data streaming and batch pipelines, cloud based technical architectures and data migration approaches that enable business objectives.
• Work with internal specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets.
• Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on your field experience.
• Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud based big data and analytics solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practice.
• Travel within EMEA for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
