Assistant Restaurant Manager
Job Description
Assists the Store Manager in efficient and profitable operation of the store in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensures retail staff delivers high‑level customer service and supports them with training and tools to maximize sales. Holds end‑to‑end store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager, promotes the loyalty program, and provides feedback regarding employees and products to the Store Manager and Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Must be fashionable / well‑groomed and possess up‑to‑date product knowledge to ensure minimal stock loss.
- Maintain knowledge of new products, trends and fashion directives to effectively respond to and anticipate customer needs.
- Ensure retail staff can provide the highest levels of customer service to maximize sales.
- Assist the Store Manager in implementation of operating procedures as per company standards.
- Ensure the brand and company’s policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff at all times.
- Regularly audit own store administration and resolve any issues.
- Manage the daily roster, leave, and grievances of the retail staff.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards at the store in accordance with set VM standards.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
- Provide feedback to the Store Manager and / or Area Manager regarding employees and products.
- Ensure awareness and vigilance of security in the store without any negligence.
- Stay updated about the various brands within the group to suggest products to customers.
- Handle end‑to‑end store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Must be physically fit to stand for extended hours and perform heavy lifting.
