We are looking for a passionate and creative Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Pastry to join our culinary team at Hyatt Place Riyadh Al Sulaimania. In this role, you will assist in leading the daily pastry operations, focusing on the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts, bakery items, and sweet creations for a la carte, buffet, and banqueting service. Your skill, attention to detail, and creativity will play a vital role in crafting memorable experiences that reflect the excellence and care Hyatt is known for. Responsibilities
- Assisting the Pastry Sous Chef and Pastry CDP in producing high-quality pastries and desserts.
- Preparing doughs, batters, creams, fillings, and decorative elements with precision.
- Supporting pastry service for buffets, afternoon tea, and banquets.
- Monitoring baking times, temperatures, and consistency of all pastry items.
- Maintaining mise en place and ensuring recipes are followed accurately.
- Upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Storing ingredients properly to reduce waste and preserve freshness.
- Reporting maintenance needs for pastry equipment promptly.
Skills & Requirements
1–2 years of pastry experience in a hotel or professional pastry kitchen.Basic knowledge of bakery and dessert preparation techniques.Good knife skills and an understanding of baking times and temperatures.Strong attention to detail and a passion for learning.Knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures.Our purpose is “We care for people so they can be their best.”
