Overview
The role involves close coordination with internal departments such as Marketing, Operations, and Brand Managers, as well as other teams within the Luxury division. It also requires regular communication with DLP Facility Management and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. In the absence of the Logistics Manager or Supervisor, this role will take over their responsibilities. Additionally, the role handles import and export documentation and operations, working closely with brand representatives and the customs clearance team. A key focus is on managing warehouse operations to ensure optimal space utilization, smooth workflow, and effective team administration. The candidate is also expected to identify improvement opportunities within the logistics function and propose constructive changes to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities
Communicate with freight forwarders, clearing agencies on Import / Export / Re-export of shipments. Planning and organizing day-to-day logistics operations. Communication with external and internal business partners and Brand Managers. Preparation of export documentations (after-sales requests for shipping repairs, etc.) and record keeping. Communicate with business partners and vendors on requirements and customs procedures in KSA. Works with freight providers, contractors, and government agencies. Safe receipt, storage, and issuing of goods and documentation. Record keeping of receipt and issues of goods. Manage and maintain warehouse assets and man management. Periodical reports on receipts and issues from the warehouse. Ensures adequate and timely distribution consistent with good inventory control. Manages logistics personnel and activities for the assigned jobs to support the other functions of the division. Pursues optimal performance from assigned resources with consideration of time, cost, and the division’s objectives.
