Job description

Job Responsibilities

Carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on generator sets, panels, and machines both in the workshop and in the field.

Key Accountabilities

Perform repairs and complex electrical troubleshooting on generator sets, panels, and machines. Use testing tools and equipment carefully and effectively.

Mentor trainees under supervision, in line with the Department's Traineeship program, and be open to training in coaching and assessment in the workplace.

Prepare failure reports on all defects, damages, misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance observed on equipment.

Work overtime when required and be available to work at various locations across the Kingdom.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications : Vocational or High School Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge : Understanding of electrical works.

Technical Skills : Knowledge of electrical systems for heavy machinery and equipment.

Language Skills : Ability to speak, read, and write Arabic and English clearly; attentive listening skills.

Experience : Minimum of 3 to 5 years of electrical repair experience on generator sets and machinery, post-apprenticeship.

Key Interactions

Internal Contacts : Service administrators for job scheduling and reporting; supervisors for technical advice and assistance.

External Contacts : Customers for fault validation, location, and scheduling.
