Technician - Electrical

Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout our facility. Your Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, locate the cause of a breakdown, and correct the problem. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components for hazards, defects, and compliance with codes. Advise management on hazardous equipment operations. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes. Maintain accurate records and files, prepare necessary reports, and manage supplies and equipment. Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights, generators, flares, and other necessary equipment. Skills

Your Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications in electrical work. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician. Your Proficiencies

Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment including measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
