Valve Greasing Technician

Overview

Valve Greasing technician’s primary responsibility is to ensure to stop of leaking / passing of valve by applying suitable sealants . Responsibilities

Check the condition of the valve and passing condition. Check the line pressure. Check the injection fitting for its functionality and start flushing the valve with flush / cleaner. Replace defective injection fitting with new one. Wait for 2-4 hours and start applying Sealant at seat area to stop the leakage. In case, leakage doesn’t stop, apply special cavity sealants to fill in body to stop the leakage. Maintain the equipment and tools in safe manner. Perform routine maintenance on sealant and Flush pumps to ensure they are in good working condition. Skills & Qualifications

Qualification : ITI- or any equivalent / OR Secondary pass. Min 3-4 years’ experience in similar job in Oil & Gas sector.
