What You Will Do

• Provide technical advice and assist battery personnel in emplacement orientation alignment checks adjustments and System Integration and CheckOut (SICO) of the patriot major end items equipment.
• Isolate malfunctions in the system using automatic and semiautomatic program maintenance diagnostics unit selftest BuiltIn Test Equipment (BITE) and external test equipment.
• Perform repair of patriot Information Coordination Central (ICC) Engagement Control Station (ECS) Radar Set (RS) Communication Relay Group (CRG) Battalion Maintenance Equipment (BME) Battery Maintenance Center (BMC) Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Antenna Mast Group (AMG) Large Repair Parts Transporter (LRPT) Guided Missile Transporter (GMT) and Launching Station (LS).
• Provide technical assistance in maintaining the patriot power generation equipment and communications equipment.
• Assist in missile handling operations as required.
• Participate in OntheJob Training (OJT) programs.
• Assist the Section Officer in enforcing safety policies procedures and standards.
• Identify faulty work practices and demonstrate proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports and System Problem Reports (SPRs) to the battery commander.
• Performs other required work in the same field.
