Senior Plant Mechanic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or TESDA-accredited certification in Mechanical Technology or a related field.
• National Certificate (NC) Level II or higher in Plant Maintenance or Fitting (e.g., Plant Maintenance NC III).
• Preferably a holder of Plant Mechanic licensure from the Professional Regulation Commission.
• Additional training in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or machine diagnostics is an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a plant or industrial mechanic, with at least 2 years in a senior or team lead role.
• Experience in manufacturing, utilities, mining, or heavy equipment plants preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with in-depth understanding of industrial machinery and systems.
• Proficiency in the use of tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, and alignment procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
