Overview
The Football Analyst is responsible for providing in-depth tactical and performance analysis to support coaching and decision-making. This includes evaluating opposition strategies, identifying weaknesses, producing post-game and weekly reports, and creating video presentations of key tactical situations. The role also involves real-time analysis during training sessions and matches, tagging drills and game phases, and operating cameras or drones as needed. The analyst ensures professional development is maintained and undertakes additional reasonable tasks to support the team’s operational needs. Key Responsibilities
Opposition Analysis
Evaluate offensive and defensive set-piece strategies and provide technical insights Detect weaknesses in the opponent's structure Support the Senior Analyst with reports and presentations to aid decision making
Qadsiah Analysis
Produce post-game set piece analysis. Design and create video presentations with specific clips of key tactical situations. Produce the weekly coach report
Real-time Analysis (Training and Matches)
Tag drills and key moments in real time training for live review and analysis Tag game phases during games for live review Operate cameras or drones as needed
Other
Ensure all continuous professional development and training courses are up to date and the minimum professional standards of the role are met. Adhere to any other reasonable requests that meet the needs of the business
