Translate strategic goals into operational plans for Assurance and Audit across business units. Oversee execution of the Assurance and Audit strategy within assigned domains. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for construction materials, providing technical guidance on specifications, testing, and compliance. Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure quality integration in development and delivery. Supervise audit planning, execution, and follow-up activities. Ensure stage gate reviews are conducted with full compliance and documentation. Validate procurement quality requirements and ensure consistent application across projects. Monitor contractor and consultant adherence to design quality assurance processes. Ensure QMS implementation across development teams and business units. Support internal and external audit readiness and response coordination. Promote a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement. Represent the Assurance and Audit function in operational leadership forums. Ensure quality resources and consultants are allocated effectively to projects. Track and report on quality KPIs and performance metrics. Drive adoption of quality best practices across teams and projects. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Engage with external stakeholders to align quality expectations and deliverables. Provide performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications

BSc in Engineering, Quality Management or similar degree (e.g., UK Level 6). Chartered Quality Professional CQP MCQI or similar. Certified ISO 9001 Quality Management System Lead Auditor. Over 12 years of leadership experience in the Construction Industry on mega or giga projects, with strong knowledge of construction materials, testing standards (ASTM, BS, ACI), and specifications.
