In manufacturing excellence, it is the point where quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale seamlessly converge, creating an environment of optimal productivity and continuous growth, if this matches your interests, then this role is just for you!WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEEvaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speedStudy production and machine requirementsDevelop and test effective automated and manual systemsDesign and install equipmentOrganize and manage manufacturing workflows and resourcesIntegrate disparate systems (e.g. equipment handling, transport)Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performanceResolve issues and delays in productionFind ways to reduce costs and maximize qualityTrain staff in new and existing processesCollaborate with other engineers, contractors and suppliersEnsure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulationsUpgrade systems and processes with new technologyEvaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.Analyze production processes, schedules, methods and other data and then provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.Ensure that the company’s manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations.Review and calculate labor, material and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making.Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & QualificationsEngineering Degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical)Previous experience of 2 years as a manufacturing engineer or similar roleFamiliarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniquesCommitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulationsWell-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office)SkillsProject management skillsProblem-solving abilityTeamwork skillsCritical thinkingLeadershipYou are energized by delivering fantastic results.
