The MEP QA QC Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in construction projects. This position involves implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle. The MEP QA QC Engineer collaborates with various stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that all MEP installations meet the specified requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control plans for MEP systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings and submittals.
- Identify and document non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and test results.
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss quality performance and improvement strategies.
- Monitor the performance of subcontractors and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to MEP systems.
