Welder

This position is based in Ireland.

Joins metal parts using various welding techniques (e.g., Arc, MIG, TIG, Flux-Cored) to construct or repair structures, pipelines, machinery, or other metal products. Reads blueprints, prepares materials, operates welding equipment, and ensures the strength and quality of welds.

Key Duties :

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal components using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc, Stick).
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.
• Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning).
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and structural integrity.
• Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment.
• Adhere to strict safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
