Position Description

Barrick Africa & Middle East Exploration Team is seeking to recruit an

Exploration Geologist

to join and grow our team within our operations in the

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

in partnership with

Responsibilities

Work within an active exploration department across Barrick’s KSA assets.

Report to the Senior Geologist; assist with design and execution of exploration programs, provide input to strategies and systems for evaluation and development of resources within existing mines (Jabal Sayid) and greenfield regional exploration.

Ensure delivery of geological inputs into operations and assist in work programs to develop geological skills for future operations.

Collate data and assist with interpretation and development of geologic models that deliver discovery success throughout prospective geology in East Africa and the Middle East.

Maintain strong technical skills and take a hands‑on, boots‑on‑the‑ground approach.

Assist with execution of field programs, including geochemical sampling, AC / RC, and DDH drilling.

Contribute technical expertise to exploration programs in specialized fields such as exploration geochemistry, geological mapping, regional geological syntheses, compilation of exploration and mineral resource reports, literature reviews, and presentations within the company.

Qualification Requirements

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia citizen.

Minimum BSc degree in Geology.

Experience and Skills Requirements

• 3 years experience working within the exploration industry.

Gold and copper experience preferred.
