Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an exciting opportunity, supporting an iconic program in Riyadh. We are seeking MRICS qualified Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management professionals, who want to develop their career in a personable and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering post contract commercial managements services
- Managing projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the Gleeds procedures
- Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships
- Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients’ requirements
- Advising on and implementing procurement strategies
- Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes
- Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
- Settling final accounts
- Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects
- Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent
- Producing and presenting reports to Clients
- Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects
Who we’re looking for
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
15+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying3+ years’ experience in Saudi Arabia3+ years’ experience with a consultancy organizationExperience of building projects, hospitality and educationSound knowledge and practical experience of post contract commercial managementPractical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategiesClear and effective communication skills - both oral and writtenAbility to absorb complex information and assess requirements readilyAbility to work as part of a teamQualifications
Degree in Quantity SurveyingMRICS or equivalent chartered statusNative English level written and oral skillsTransferable IqamaBe part of the extraordinary
