Job description

Overview

Sr. Administrator - EUS responsible for preventative maintenance and active management of data center environments and remote sites, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring the reliability and security of network and data center infrastructure in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah and remote locations).

Responsibilities

  • Preventative upkeep of Jeddah DC, Gold Moor, and other remote sites.
  • Handle remote site issues and perform major installations of tools, setup, and maintenance of data center devices; oversee tool deployment and changes.
  • Coordinate various technical teams for technical activities.
  • Replace exterior access points (AP), install interior APs, and manage data center physical installation, maintenance, and monitoring.
  • Install HP switches and routers; maintain, repair, and upgrade networks, industrial switches, HP APs, and MES systems.
  • Monitor APC systems, Schneider Industrial instruments, and system logistics.
  • Diagnose and fix problems with network hardware, software, and systems; address potential issues proactively.
  • Install TrendMicro server and TippingPoint 8400 TX devices.
  • Install BIG-IP 5000 Series Load Balancer; configure ClearPass, monitor access, and maintain security posture.
  • Install Fortinet devices (FortiGate 1500D, 401E, 601E, 101E, 40F, 81F, 80F - bypass) as required.
  • Install and configure HP APs (MSM460, MSM466, MSM466-R).
  • Maintain APC equipment in data centers and manage ticketing for technical concerns; utilize ticketing tools with ITIL knowledge.

Qualifications

  • ITIL knowledge and practical work experience in IT service management or related field.
  • Experience with data center infrastructure, network hardware, and security systems is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues in a data center environment.
