Job Purpose

Collaborate with Sales team to produce technical, architectural, and engineering deliverables that lead to generate profitable sales. Serve customers by identifying their needs and engineer adaptations of products, equipment and services that ensure high customer satisfaction levels.

Job Responsibilities

Policies & Procedures

  • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
  • Ensure proper implementation and control of group policies and procedures

Sales Operations

  • Assist in entire sales process – initial discovery, project review, design submission, component installation
  • Collaborate with the Local Operations Teams to obtain contractor quotes in support of sales opportunities
  • Smart and technically capable of providing alternative solutions that meet existing end-user components and installation criteria.
  • Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies for key vertical market segments
  • Interface with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of solution delivery to individual end users
  • Assist in developing and implementation of product and application training programs for Sales team
  • Support Sales Executives with solution selling into prospective account base
  • Assist in modelling the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
  • and deliver impactful presentations and demos, leveraging advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint to clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence and archive technical and commercial data in an organized manner.
  • Quotation to Order and Collection Management

  • Maintain the supplier database of contact person for securing quotation and mapping of product to supplier for immediate decision making on RFQ received for evaluation
  • Assist in evaluation of customer requirement from customer Bid package or RFQ, in coordination with KAM.
  • commercial documents needed in RFQ (Bid bond etc.) and other hidden cost factors in project / RFQ for discussion with stakeholders
  • out BID packages and communicate with customers and vendors to close technical queries before and after BID.
  • Prepare LOA for approval, quotation (Technical & Commercial) with all necessary supporting documents helpful for user to review and evaluate the quotation.
  • most suitable product from Evostel stocks and participate in pricing from vendor price lists, web shops or portals directly
  • Collaborate with other Evostel teams (Commercial, sales and finance etc.) for their inputs (payment terms, invoicing etc.) or documents (if acceptable) for readiness before BCD.
  • Review of customer orders to ascertain the accuracy of BOM, the part numbers, scope of supplies / works, payment terms as well as other terms and conditions.
  • Assist in preparation and submission of final dossiers (user Manual, drawings, Test Certificates etc.) to get acceptance of delivered materials / services and help customer to close the orders for processing Evostel payments
  • Assist in preparation of technical submittals including final dossiers as per customer standards.
  • Set up a monitoring mechanism to track Evostel supplier POs and ensure the timely receipt of customer materials, as well as meeting the agreed delivery schedules.
  • Procure to Pay

  • Float RFQs’ and hold discussion with suppliers for technical clarification with commercial terms and conditions.
  • Procure materials / services needed from vendors, plan execution of customer orders, monitors the progress of Evostel POs with vendors.
  • Finalize vendor POs and ensure that the acknowledgments are available.
  • Prepare item code in the system, set terms of delivery and input the PO for end-to-end approval from all stakeholders.
  • Ensure coordination with suppliers for timely delivery and terms and conditions are in-line with agreed commercial terms.
  • Liaise with finance to meet pay advance payments and / or issue bank guarantees or LCs
  • Liaise with logistics team to provide shipping status report for all standard purchase orders
  • Delivery Management

  • Coordinate for fabrication / manufacturing, transportation, and clearance of shipment (if importing), receiving of ordered materials in Evostel warehouse, creating the delivery documents, transportation of materials to customer facility and delivery of invoice.
  • delivery notes, arrange delivery of materials and obtain customer receipts and acceptance in coordination with the logistics, accounts, and warehouse function.
  • Master Data and Data Entry Accuracy

  • Ensure data accuracy of item code, pricing, delivery date from customer and supplier.

  • Job Specifications

  • Experience : 8 years in Project Management, covering all aspects of process development and execution
  • Education : Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or equivalent
