The Industrial Engineering Department at Alfaisal University invites applications for full-time positions. Specific positions and areas of interest include :

1. Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, preferably from an ABET-accredited institution. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong research record and experience in teaching and supervising both graduate and undergraduate students. The faculty member is expected to engage in community outreach and provide service to the department, college, and university. The ideal candidate should bring experience, energy, motivation, and leadership to the department. Specific areas of interest include :

• Production Planning and Inventory Management
• Logistics and Supply Chain
• Operations Research
• Simulation

2. Senior Lecturer of Industrial Engineering

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering. Preference will be given to those with experience in lab development and teaching, with added consideration for familiarity with local accreditation procedures. The candidate is expected to participate in administrative and committee assignments for the department and the college. Additionally, they should develop relationships with industry and assist students with internships and job placements.

Alfaisal University is a young and fast-growing university located in the capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 2008 as a private not-for-profit Institution, where English is the language of instructions. It consists of six colleges : Business, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, and Science.

The College of Engineering has been offering a wide range of degrees and programs through a blend of rigorous and project-based curricula. Currently, the college offers bachelor’s degrees in Architectural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Software , and Biomedical Engineering. These programs are all ABET accredited. In addition, a master’s degree in Engineering & Systems Management is being offered in collaboration with the Centre for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES) at KACST (King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology) and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). The College also offers an MSc in Cybersecurity as well as an MSc in Applied AI program.
