The Project Manager ensures organizational alignment, execution & delivery discipline across all major client and internal projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Pre-RFP Alignment
- Lead pre-RFP alignment and readiness sessions to validate project scope, timeline, resource availability, and budget assumptions across departments.
- Partner with Commercial and Finance to assess project economics, cost structures, and profitability before commitments are made.
- Ensure all project proposals undergo cross-functional validation (Commercial, Product, Engineering, HR, Legal, Finance) before submission.
- Review and confirm vendor or subcontractor arrangements for procurement, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Establish an RFP-to-delivery handover framework, ensuring clarity of ownership and traceability across the project lifecycle.
2. Enterprise Project Governance & Risk Management
Design, implement, and maintain project governance frameworks, defining accountability, escalation paths, and decision-making checkpoints.Oversee project portfolio health by maintaining dashboards and governance reports for executive visibility.Develop and maintain a project and risk register tracking progress, dependencies, financial exposure, and compliance risks.Proactively identify and mitigate cross-functional risks, including misaligned scopes, resource constraints, and regulatory gaps.Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure deliverables meet contractual, operational, and client excellence standards.Enforce project stage gates and approval processes prior to contractual, financial, or delivery commitments.3. Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment
Serve as the central coordination point between all business units, including Commercial, Product, Engineering, HR, Finance, Legal, and Delivery; ensuring synchronized execution.Lead project initiation, steering, and review meetings to align stakeholders on objectives, dependencies, and milestones.Maintain consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders through project dashboards, executive summaries, and progress reports.Ensure project scopes and timelines reflect operational capacity and compliance requirements, reducing delivery risks.Facilitate procurement and vendor management coordination, ensuring external partners are aligned with internal standards and regulatory frameworks..4. Third-Party & Vendor Compliance Oversight
Oversee vendor and third-party onboarding governance, ensuring tools, processors, and contractors meet data protection and regulatory standards.Maintain a Third-Party Risk Register, tracking compliance obligations, privacy safeguards, and mitigation activities.Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Data Privacy Officers to manage risk assessments, incident responses, and breach reporting related to external partners.Integrate vendor oversight into the PMO framework to ensure continuous monitoring and accountability.5. Delivery Governance & Performance Oversight
Oversee project execution from a governance and performance standpoint, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables remain aligned with approved baselines.Consolidate project metrics, status updates, and key decisions into executive-level dashboards and PMO reports.Monitor project health indicators (cost, scope, schedule, risk) and elevate early warnings to leadership.Facilitate post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and embed best practices into standardized PMO methodologies.Partner with Delivery and Customer Success teams post‑sale to ensure a seamless handover and governance continuity.6. Internal Strategic Program Governance
Extend PM frameworks to internal initiatives, ensuring structured oversight of strategic programs (e.g., process transformation, system rollouts, product initiatives).Coordinate the corporate planning and execution cycle, tracking progress against annual strategic objectives and KPIs.Facilitate resource planning, milestone tracking, and executive reporting for key cross‑departmental programs.Develop and maintain standardized PM tools, templates, and procedures for company‑wide consistency.Champion a culture of structured delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement across all teams.Requirements & Skills
5+ years’ experience in project / program management, preferably in SaaS, or enterprise technology.Strong background in strategic planning, project governance, and cross‑functional delivery.Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2, Agile / Hybrid).Strong financial acumen; experience with cost modeling and ROI analysis.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with ability to anticipate and mitigate risks early.Ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.PMP, Prince2 or equivalent certification preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
