We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join a prominent utilities organization in the GCC as the Vice President of Asset Management. This is a pivotal executive role responsible for shaping and driving the organizations asset management strategy across electricity and water distribution networks. The successful candidate will oversee multiple departments lead strategic planning and ensure the longterm sustainability and efficiency of key assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and of the organizations asset management strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Oversee key functions including asset policies network planning wholesale procurement GIS systems and asset standards.
- Ensure optimal lifecycle management of physical infrastructure assets to maximize efficiency lifespan and service reliability.
- Develop performance metrics and reporting systems to drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Manage capital planning and investments ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and return on investment.
- Lead innovation in asset management by integrating new technologies methodologies and international best practices.
- Provide strategic leadership to crossfunctional teams fostering a collaborative accountable and highperformance culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies.
- Champion sustainability institutional excellence and compliance with safety quality and confidentiality standards.
- Drive nationalization talent development and professional training across departments.
