Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline At least 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector In-depth knowledge of applicable HSE regulations, standards, and practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are strongly preferred
JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Engineer to join our team. In this leadership role, you'll be instrumental in promoting a safe and compliant working environment by developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute health, safety, and environmental management strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Investigate accidents and incidents thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Facilitate training programs for employees to enhance awareness and adherence to safety practices.
- Compile and maintain accurate records of health, safety, and environmental incidents and compliance efforts.
- Advise management on key HSE issues, developing action plans to mitigate risks.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry best practices related to health, safety, and environmental management.
