As a Senior Manager specialising in Corporate Finance, you’ll help make that happen within EY’s VME network, delivering high-quality advice and solutions through each phase of the deal process. We are looking for an experienced Corporate Finance professional to join our high-performing team as a Senior Manager. EY’s Transactions & Corporate Finance practice focuses on advising clients on strategic planning, capital allocation, portfolio optimization, and the entire deal life-cycle. You will have opportunities to develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring and formal learning. Key Responsibilities
Spend day-to-day on commercial issues, liaising with client or target management on parts of the transaction process or transformation plans. Regularly undertake valuations for strategic priorities; manage the project team and form strong internal links within VME and EY. Understand key business drivers, co-develop our approach with the client, and agree value measurements; provide insights, factual conclusions and advice. Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including financial models, analysis, written reports, presentations and client discussions. Identify opportunities to sell additional EY services to clients. Foster a positive learning culture for junior team members, provide coaching, and participate in upward feedback. Contribute to wider team initiatives such as account management, client service frameworks and recruitment. Skills And Attributes For Success
Strategic : identify sources of value creation and quantify them; act as a true Corporate Finance advisor, leveraging EY capabilities. Commercial : advise on valuations related to acquisitions, divestitures or restructurings; provide decision support on transactions. Financial : strong financial and accounting expertise underpinning bespoke corporate finance solutions. Qualifications
Minimum : bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business from a leading internationally recognized university; at least 7 years of relevant experience. Expertise in valuation methodologies, forecasting and scenario planning, and transaction life-cycles. Excellent financial modelling skills, including building complex models with various funding and deal structures. Good understanding of IFRS standards and impact on valuation and pricing. Previous valuation and / or M&A experience in Big 4, Investment Banking or Private Equity. Experience in investment appraisal and deal-life-cycle knowledge from sell-side and buy-side perspectives. Experience reviewing and challenging transaction-related legal documentation. CFA or equivalent professional qualification (ideally). Understanding of Saudi (or broader GCC) market dynamics. Excellent business development skills. Arabic language skills (not mandatory). What We Look For
