Overview

Lead a high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure team to deliver major projects across the Middle East and potentially worldwide. You will drive design excellence, client relationships and project success while supporting Buro Happold’s commitment to sustainability, equity and social impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major infrastructure and buildings projects.
• Lead a diverse infrastructure team (approximately 7‑10 people) to secure projects.
• Support the delivery of cities, buildings and advisory work and assist with client management.
• Collaborate closely with cities teams in UAE and UK, building deep relationships with stakeholders in those regions.
• Develop and maintain winning relationships in the region to support the future project pipeline, including preparing bid submissions and fee proposals.
• Provide technical leadership on ongoing city projects, covering disciplines such as transport, water, infrastructure and energy.
• Balance demands and priorities while overseeing civil infrastructure design from proposition to construction, including resource planning, finances and financial performance monitoring.
• Manage technical staff, plan workloads, mentor junior team members and identify opportunities to grow the team.
• Oversee technical management and performance of the infrastructure team with a focus on quality.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
