Manager-Operations Procurement role at DAMAC Properties
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily procurement activities to support uninterrupted data center operations
- Align procurement with maintenance schedules and emergency needs
- Manage relationships with local and regional suppliers
- Coordinate with vendors for planned and unplanned maintenance
- Monitor vendor compliance with safety and certification standards
- Provide immediate procurement support during emergencies
- Maintain visibility of critical spare parts and consumables
- Track supply levels and ensure alternate vendors are available
- Collaborate with internal teams for inventory and vendor performance
- Align site-level procurement with regional practices
Qualifications
Degree qualified in Engineering or Procurement-related disciplineFamiliarity with MEP systems, UPS units, HVAC systems, and diesel generatorsUnderstanding of preventive / reactive maintenance procurement cyclesExperience
Minimum 8+ years in Procurement or Supply Chain OperationsExperience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, telecom, or industrial facilitiesProven track record in spare parts procurement, vendor coordination, and contract implementationSeniority level
