Overview Of The Role The Quantity Surveyor will perform MEP quantity surveying tasks for the project and support the QS department and site team with all commercial and contractual requirements. The role maintains strong commercial awareness and safeguards the company’s interests by ensuring timely claims for all payments related to executed works, variations, delays, claims and other relevant matters.
What You Will Do
Record and monitor all site activities and costs expended on the project.
Prepare and summarize all measured works.
Maintain a schedule of submissions and responses for approvals, inspections and variations.
Prepare take‑offs from drawings and compare them with site measurements.
Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
Prepare MEP tender documents including pricing tabulation and cost summaries.
Reconcile materials and works executed during the month.
Prepare subcontractor payments and record / monitor all site works.
Prepare monthly commercial reports in conjunction with the PM and site team.
Maintain all MEP QS documents and logs / registers as applicable.
Coordinate with all company departments for project execution.
Adhere to the company QHSE policy and report all incidents immediately.
Required Skills To Be Successful

What Equips You For The Role
Bachelor or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
5‑7 years of MEP work experience in the construction industry.
Excellent knowledge of contractual obligations for both the company and subcontractors.
Proficient knowledge of construction methods and materials.
