Overview

Seeking a qualified Design Lead with experience managing multi-disciplinary projects within the UAE and GCC region, with relevant local availability in Saudi Arabia. The position involves coordinating design activities across departments, mentoring junior designers, and fostering client relationships while driving innovation and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead design teams to deliver engineering and architectural solutions, ensuring compliance with standards and on-time project delivery.
Coordinate design production for airport, transport, metro, stadium, and industrial projects; manage schedules, budgets, and resources.
Develop technical design strategies, ensure quality assurance, and oversee documentation and sign-off processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and manage multidisciplinary inputs across projects.
Coordinate with vendors and manage design reviews, risk management, and client engagement to deliver innovative solutions.
Utilize design thinking and agile methods to drive project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

Engineering or architecture degree required; strong leadership and team-management skills.

Experience managing large-scale multi-disciplinary projects in UAE and GCC regions; familiarity with local building codes and standards.

Proficiency with design software and BIM implementation; ability to coordinate complex design production.

Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities; capable of mentoring teams and managing budgets.

Willingness to work on projects located in Saudi Arabia (e.g., Dammam, Eastern Province, Riyadh) and nearby regions.
